Since 1947, the first floor of the Palazzo Borghese on the Tiber River in Rome has been the seat of the Embassy of Spain in Italy.

The current ambassador is Miguel Ángel Fernández-Palacios, who was appointed by Pedro Sánchez's government on October 12, 2022.
