The following is a list of awards and nominations received by William Shatner.

Shatner won his first Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Denny Crane on the David E. Kelley ABC series The Practice (2004).

The following year he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries or Television Film for the same role this time on ABC series Boston Legal (2005).

Shatner earned five Best Actor nominations: the first for Kingdom of the Spiders, the four other for the first four Star Trek films.

In 2011, he was given made an honorary Doctor of Letters by McGill University, his alma mater.
