As of November 2024, Albanese has made fifteen international trips to twenty-five sovereign states since assuming office on 23 May 2022.

Albanese and Modi also attended the Fourth Test Match of the Border–Gavaskar Trophy in Ahmedabad, at the 75 Years of Friendship through Cricket Event.
This event was a celebration of the 75th anniversary of the strong ties between India and Australia.
