The largest lake in Nepal is Rara Lake, also known as Mahendra Daha, in Karnali Province.

It lies at about 3200m above sea level, and has a total area of 10.4 square kilometres (4.0 sq mi).

It lies at an altitude of 4919 m above mean sea level.
