In the 1976 Volkskammer election, according to official data, 99.86% of voters cast their votes in favor of the nomination proposed by the National Front.
The election did not influence the strength of the factions.
The party affiliations of the members of the FDGB, DFD, FDJ, and Kulturbund factions are reflected in the rightmost column of the above table.
