Israel Hamas Palestinian Islamic Jihad Early in the morning of 7 October 2023, approximately 3000 militants,[14][15] from Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the PFLP, and DFLP,[16] breached the Gaza fence and attacked multiple locations in southern Israel.

On 1 August 2024, Gaza's media office released an updated statistic stating that Israeli forces had committed over 3,457 massacres since 7 October.
