As of March 2024, Taipei contains 35 buildings above 150 metres (492 ft) in height.
The first building to surpass 150 metres (492 ft) in Taipei was the Shin Kong Life Tower, which was completed in 1993 and is 244.8 m (803 ft) tall.
There are currently several buildings over 200 m under construction in Taipei, including the Taipei Twin Towers towers A and B, which are under planning and will reach 360 metres (1,181 ft) and 280 metres (919 ft) respectively, and the Taipei Sky Tower, which is under construction in Xinyi District and will reach 280 metres (919 ft).

The list includes only habitable buildings, as opposed to structures such as observation towers, radio masts, transmission towers and chimneys.
