16.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

The township is served by four separate public school districts.

The vast majority of the township is served by Litchfield Community Schools.

A very small portion of the southwest corner of the township is served by the Quincy Community School District to the west in Branch County.
