For the first time in the history, Lithuania was hosting the European Figure Skating Championships in 2024.
The competition was held from 10 to 14 January 2024 at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas, Lithuania.
The Lithuanian Skating Federation received the rights to host the championships in Kaunas after Hungary withdrew from hosting the competition due to financial difficulties.
On 13 January the local ice dancing pair Allison Reed and Saulius Ambrulevičius made history by winning bronze medals for Lithuania for the first time since 2006.
