Lokaloka (also: Loka) is a village of Paramacca maroons in the Sipaliwini District of Suriname.
[2] The inhabitants of Lokaloka originate from about 150 slaves who escaped plantation Molhoop [Wikidata] around 1830.
The maroons were led by Da Asede who founded Lokaloka as their settlement.
It is almost completely built up, and has been extended on the river bank on the Surinamese side.
[8] Plans have been developed to extended the road at Snesiekondre to Lokaloka.
