Lorena Velázquez

Lorena Velázquez (Spanish pronunciation: [loˈɾena βeˈlaskes]; 15 December 1937 – 11 April 2024) was a Mexican actress and beauty pageant titleholder.

At the time of her death she was one of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema.

Born María de la Concepción Lorena Villar in Mexico City, Velázquez debuted in 1955.

Velázquez played varied roles in the 1960's, from a vedette, to a cowgirl and even as the queen of vampires.

She also played two antagonistic roles in a film, as queen of a faraway planet and her twin (picture).
