Losantville, Indiana

Losantville is a town in Union Township, Randolph County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.

[7] According to the 2010 census, Losantville has a total area of 0.19 square miles (0.49 km2), all land.

The racial makeup of the town was 97.0% White, 0.4% Native American, and 2.5% from two or more races.

31.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 16.0% of families and 15.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including 24.1% of those under the age of eighteen and 12.5% of those 65 or over.

Losantville is the birthplace of former major league baseball player Claude Berry, a catcher for the Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia A's and Pittsburgh Rebels from 1904 through 1915.
