Lost Creek is a town in Harrison County, West Virginia, United States.
[5][6] The creek itself was named after messages carved on nearby trees during early European exploration of the area.
[7] The Daniel Bassel House and Lost Creek Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Depot are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

In 2021, a new Lost Creek Elementary School was constructed adjacent to the South Harrison campus.
