Louise Emmons (January 7, 1858 – March 6, 1935) was an American character actress.
An article in Classic Images in December 2016 states that she was born in 1872 as Louise Atkinson in California.
[1] Allan Elleburger stated in 2017 that Emmons was born as Louie A. Adkison in 1858 near Camptonville, California.
With "the kind of face that could stop a clock"[3] she appeared in over 65 films until 1935, mostly in small roles.
She specialized in portraying old hags, such as the evil headmistress from the Our Gang film Mush and Milk (1933).
