Louisville (/ˈluːɪsvɪl/ LOO-iss-vil)[2] is a village in Clay County, Illinois, United States, along the Little Wabash River.
According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Louisville has a total area of 0.83 square miles (2.15 km2), all land.
[6] The Little Wabash River flows past the east side of the village.
As of the 2020 census[8] there were 1,136 people, 527 households, and 252 families residing in the village.
47.82% of all households were made up of individuals, and 26.94% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
