Additionally, several matches would be taped for the Slaughterhouse special, which was originally meant to take place on October 4 in St. Petersburg, Florida before being canceled due to Hurricane Helene.

On September 27, 2023, Major League Wrestling (MLW) announced a strategic partnership with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) for crossover events and talent exchanges.
