Luis Romo

Luis Francisco Romo Barrón (born 5 June 1995) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Liga MX club Guadalajara and the Mexico national team.

[3] He made his Liga MX debut with Querétaro on 20 July 2018, in the team's opening match of the season, against Atlas.

[8] On 3 December, he scored his first brace in Cruz Azul's 4–0 first leg victory over Pumas UNAM in the Guardianes 2020 semi-finals.

[9] He played in the return leg of the series which Cruz Azul lost 4–0, resulting in the team's elimination 4–4 on aggregate.

[15] In October 2022, Romo was named in Mexico's preliminary 31-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and in November, he was ultimately included in the final 26-man roster, but did not receive any minutes on the field during the tournament.
