He teamed up with Letizia Roscher to compete in pairs prior to the 2017–18 figure skating season and coached by Monika Scheibe.
[2] Following the season, Roscher and Schuster switched coaches from Monika Scheibe to Robin Szolkowy and Ingo Steuer.
Debuting on the Grand Prix series, Roscher and Schuster finished seventh at 2022 Skate America and won the bronze medal at the 2022 MK John Wilson Trophy.
[2] Making their debut on the senior level at the 2023 German Championships, Roscher and Schuster won the silver medal.
[2] After dealing with injury difficulties that impacted their training, Roscher and Schuster started the season with an eleventh-place at the 2023 Nebelhorn Trophy.
[5] Roscher and Schuster began the season by finishing eighth at the 2024 Nebelhorn Trophy and fourth at the 2024 Diamond Spin.
