Lycée Alexandre Dumas is a senior high school/sixth-form college in Saint-Cloud, Hauts-de-Seine, France, in the Paris metropolitan area.
It was previously named Lycée Florent-Schmitt but in 1996 a musical philosophy teacher from the school discovered pamphlets dating from the 1930s in which the namesake, Florent Schmitt, denounced German Jews and Israelite (Jewish) influence on music.
[1] Afterward there had been multiple attempts to change the school's name.
[2] It was renamed in honor of Alexandre Dumas in 2003.
