[1] Born in Três Corações, Minas Gerais, Márcio debuted in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) in the 2018–19 season with Franca.
[3] In the 2023 offseason, Márcio played in the 2023 NBA Summer League with the Atlanta Hawks and appeared in five exhibition games, in which he totalled 17 minutes and 2 points.
[4] On 24 September, Márcio scored a team-high 15 points on 6-for-9 shooting and grabbed 8 rebounds in the 70-69 won final over Telekom Baskets Bonn.
