Mézières-sur-Seine (French pronunciation: [mezjɛʁ syʁ sɛn] ⓘ, literally Mézières on Seine) is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France.
It is located in the western suburbs of Paris, near the bank of the Seine 47 km (29 mi) west of Paris.
The name of the commune comes from the Latin word: maceria, meaning walls.
