M. Remi Yergeau

M. Remi Yergeau (formerly Melanie Yergeau, born 1984)[1] is an American academic in the fields of rhetoric and writing studies, digital studies, queer rhetoric, disability studies, and theories of mind.

As of 2024, Yergeau is an Arthur F. Thurnau associate professor of Digital Studies and English at the University of Michigan.

Yergeau received a Bachelor of Arts in writing from Geneva College in 2005, a Master of Arts in writing from DePaul University in 2007, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in English from the Ohio State University in 2011.

[2] After receiving their Ph.D., Yergeau became an assistant professor with the Department of English at the University of Michigan.
