Mai TV owned the exclusive Pacific rights to the 2008 Rugby League World Cup[2] along with rights to some major properties including CSI series, Survivor, 60 Minutes, Jericho, EROS Movies, Chuck, TWI Sport and on July 13, 2009, they acquired the rights to broadcast live 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Mai TV also airs 1News (provided by TVNZ) and four hour blocks of Al Jazeera and Australia Network daily.
[1] Mai TV is the only broadcaster in the Pacific Islands to stream content from Fiji including three major football events, Gospel Quest, 2012 National Budget address and TFL's Exporter of the year awards.
[7] In early 2017, 50% of Mai TV's shares were bought by the New-Methodist Christian Fellowship in Fiji.
A small number of local content is made, including Christian programming.
