Maśnik[2][3] [ˈmaɕnik] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Połaniec, within Staszów County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland.
It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Połaniec, 20 km (12 mi) south of Staszów, and 70 km (43 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kielce.
[4] According to the 2002 Poland census, there were 195 people residing in Maśnik village, of whom 45.1% were male and 54.9% were female.
In the village, the population was spread out, with 28.7% under the age of 18, 34.4% from 18 to 44, 15.4% from 45 to 64, and 21.5% who were 65 years of age or older.
