Małyga was born in Środa Śląska in the Roman Catholic family.

[2] In the years 2004–2006 he was an assistant priest in the parish of St. John the Apostle and Evangelist in Oleśnica.

[2] After returning from studies, he became a spiritual director at the Major Theological Seminary in Wrocław.

On 24 April 2022 he was consecrated as bishop by Archbishop Józef Kupny and other prelates of the Roman Catholic Church in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Wrocław.

[1] Bishop Małyga was appointed as a vicar general of the Archdiocese of Wrocław.
