Macropsychanthus

Luzonia Elmer (1907) Macropsychanthus is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family, Fabaceae.

It belongs to the tribe Diocleae, subfamily Faboideae.

[3] The genus has 47 species with a pantropical distribution, ranging through the tropical Americas from southern Mexico to northeastern Argentina, west and central Africa, Madagascar, Indochina, Malesia, Papuasia, and Queensland.

[2] Many species of Dioclea were transferred to the genus Macropsychanthus as a result of a molecular phylogenetic study published in 2020.
