Magnus von Horn

Magnus von Horn, (born 21 December 1983, Gothenburg), is a Swedish-Polish[1][2] film director and screenwriter.

von Horn graduated from the National Film School in Łódź in 2013.

[3] A few months after he arrived in Poland he was brutally robbed, which resulted in him becoming interested in violent people.

[5] His debut feature, The Here After, premiered in the Directors' Fortnight of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

[7] His third feature, The Girl with the Needle, premiered in the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in competition for the Palme d’Or.
