Magtymguly (formerly Garrygala, Kara-Kala, Russian: Кара-Кала) is a city (Turkmen: şäher) west of Aydere in Balkan Province, Turkmenistan.
[4][5] The town is filled with monuments in memory of Magtymguly Pyragy; however, it is not prominent in the tourism circuit.
