Maklár is a municipality (Hungarian: község) in Heves county, in the Egri Subregion in Hungary.

It lies between the villages of Kerecsend, Nagytálya, Novaj (Hungary), Szihalom and the town of Füzesabony.

Maklár has one local primary school: I. István Általános Iskola.
