Gherghița is a commune in Prahova County, Muntenia, Romania.

It is composed of four villages: Gherghița, Independența, Malamuc, and Ungureni.

It also included Fânari, Olari and Olarii Vechi villages until 2004, when they were split off to form Olari Commune.
