Malka Halfon-Potashnik (born 1949) is an Israeli Paralympic champion.
[11] Potashnik was born into the Halfon family and experiences paralysis in her right leg.
She began training at a sports center for people with disabilities, and in 1967, she participated in the Stoke Mandeville Games where she won both gold and silver medals.
At the 1968 Summer Paralympics, in Tel Aviv, she won gold medals in Wheelchair Basketball, Women's Club Throw Special class, and Women's Javelin Special class.
From 1967 to 1980, while at the height of her athletic career, she worked as an operator at the Office Mechanization Center of the Ministry of Finance.
