Nieves Álvarez Costa

[1] Álvarez competed as part of the Spanish team at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, where she finished 6th in the women's 100 m C5-6.

[2] She earned a silver medal in the women's 100 m T34-35 event at the 1996 Summer Paralympics in Atlanta, finishing behind Caroline Innes of Great Britain.

Álvarez also competed in the women's 200 m T34-37 event, where she was disqualified in the heat.
