Mara Liasson (/ˈmɑːrə ˈlaɪ.əsən/; born June 13, 1955) is an American journalist and political pundit.
She is a graduate of Brown University (class of 1977) with a bachelor's degree in American history.
Liasson was a freelance radio and television reporter in San Francisco and worked at Berkeley's KPFA before joining NPR in 1985.
She is a regular contributor to Special Report with Bret Baier and a panelist on FOX News Sunday.
