Marehra, is a city and a municipal board in Etah district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Marehra is also famous for Khankah -e - Barkatiya Dargah.

Marehra was known as Chandan Nagar, and the dominated area of Dacoit.

Once upon a time Mughal King Akbar arrived and freed the town from the terror of Dacoit, and stabilised (Mar - Hara) Marehra is located at coordinates 27°27′N 78°20′E / 27.45°N 78.34°E / 27.45; 78.34, 21.5 kilometres (13 mi) from the district headquarters Etah, 255 kilometres (158 mi) from the state capital Lucknow and 200 kilometres (124 mi) from the national capital Delhi.

Marehra is a state legislative assembly constituency of Uttar Pradesh.
