Marganlar (Persian: مرگنلر)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Qarah Quyun District of Showt County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.

[3] It also serves as the administrative center for Qarah Quyun-e Jonubi Rural District.

[3] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the population (as the total of its constituent villages before their merger) was 2,423 in 533 households, when it was in Qarah Quyun-e Jonubi Rural District of the former Showt District of Maku County.
