Maria Dolors García Ramón (born 1943) is a Spanish geographer.
[1] She is emeritus professor of geography of the Autonomous University of Barcelona,[2] García Ramón was born on 7 November 1943 in Gandia, Valencia.
[1] From 1988 to 1996 she was Secretary of the International Geographical Union's Study Group on Gender and Geography.
[3] She was awarded the 2016 Vautrin Lud Prize (Le Prix Vautrin-Lud), which has been described as "the highest award that can be bestowed on a geographer"[5] and "the Nobel of geography".
