Mariam Abdul-Rashid (born 21 September 1997) is a Canadian track and field athlete who competes as a sprint hurdler.
[2] She attended Eastdale Collegiate school and trained with the Speed Academy in Pickering, Ontario prior to signing a letter of intent at 17 years-of-age to run with a scholarship at the University of Texas.
[6][7] She was a bronze medalist in the 100m hurdles at the 2019 NACAC U18 and U23 Championships in Athletics in Querétaro, Mexico.
[12][13] She ran a personal best time of 8.01 seconds to in the women's 60m hurdles in Clemson, South Carolina in February 2024.
Abdul-Rashid was selected as part of the Canadian team for the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow to compete in the 60 metres hurdles, where she qualified for the semi-finals and set a new personal best time of 7.99 seconds.
