Mark Allen Barnett (born 1963) is the chief judge of the United States Court of International Trade.
[1] He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in 1985 from Dickinson College.
He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1988 from the University of Michigan Law School.
[2][3] On July 12, 2012, President Barack Obama nominated Barnett to be a United States judge for the United States Court of International Trade, to the seat vacated by Judge Judith Barzilay, who took senior status on June 2, 2011.
On January 2, 2013, his nomination was returned to the President, due to the sine die adjournment of the Senate.
