Mark Clear

Mark Alan Clear (born May 27, 1956) is an American former two-time All Star Major League Baseball relief pitcher who played for the California Angels (1979–80, 1990), Boston Red Sox (1981–85), and Milwaukee Brewers (1986–88).

[1] Clear was born in Los Angeles and attended Northview High School in Covina, California.

[1] A hard curveballer with shaky control, Clear was a flexible set-up man, and an occasional closer as well.

[citation needed] In 1979, Clear was an All Star and came in 19th in voting for the American League MVP.

[4] In 1982, Clear was again voted an All Star, and finished the season with a career-high 14 wins and 109 strikeouts.
