Maromaku is a locality in the Northland Region of the North Island of New Zealand.

The results were 77.8% European (Pākehā); 49.2% Māori; 9.5% Pasifika; 1.6% Asian; and 3.2% Middle Eastern, Latin American and African New Zealanders (MELAA).
The percentage of people born overseas was 6.3, compared with 28.8% nationally.
Of those at least 15 years old, 9 (6.5%) people had a bachelor's or higher degree, 99 (71.7%) had a post-high school certificate or diploma, and 30 (21.7%) people exclusively held high school qualifications.

The results were 70.9% European (Pākehā); 50.7% Māori; 6.4% Pasifika; 1.4% Asian; 2.8% Middle Eastern, Latin American and African New Zealanders (MELAA); and 4.3% other, which includes people giving their ethnicity as "New Zealander".
Of those at least 15 years old, 51 (8.3%) people had a bachelor's or higher degree, 399 (64.6%) had a post-high school certificate or diploma, and 153 (24.8%) people exclusively held high school qualifications.
