Martin Donnelly (born 4 January 1951) is a Northern Irish former football defender who played professionally in the North American Soccer League and Major Indoor Soccer League.
Donnelly played in the North American Soccer League for the San Diego Sockers between 1979 and 1983, making 116 outdoor appearances.
In May 1984, the Sockers sold Donnelly and Alan Mayer to the Las Vegas Americans for $150,000.
[2] When the Americans folded at the end of the season, Donnelly returned to San Diego where he worked briefly as a truck driver.
