William Martin Smallwood (April 30, 1873 – November 21, 1949) was an American biologist and professor at Syracuse University.
[2] In 1902 he was named professor of comparative anatomy at Syracuse.
[4] He was elected a Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
[3] While at Allegheny College, he also served as the head coach for the American football team during the 1898 season with a record of 4–4.
