Martin Treacy (1936 – 4 June 2014) was an Irish hurler who played as a left corner-back for the Kilkenny senior team.

[1] Born in Bennettsbridge, County Kilkenny, Treacy first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-three when he made his senior debut in the 1959 championship.

In retirement from playing Treacy became involved in administrative affairs and served with the Bennettsbridge club and the Kilkenny County Board.

Treacy made his senior championship debut on 12 July 1959 in a 2-9 to 1-11 provincial final defeat of Dublin.

"The Cats" entered the game as underdogs, however, star forward Eddie Keher proved to be the difference with a magnificent display in which he scored fourteen points.
