The racial makeup of the township was 92.13% White, 1.48% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.62% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.74% from other races, and 4.92% from two or more races.

24.90% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.50% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
