[2] She started dancing at age 7 and performed in venues in Madrid while she was studying at the Academies of Quiroga, Ompín and Monreal.

[2] In 1943, Begoña worked in Valencia in Juanita Reina's acting troupe, but returned to Madrid to debut in the Teatro Calderón.

[3] For the next several years she performed in variety shows with various acting troupes, such as Tres días para quererte (1945), ¡Róbame esta noche!

[2] Her first film was La Reina del Tabarín (1960) by Jesús Franco but she received acclaim for ¡Cómo está el servicio!

After the television show ended, she appeared in two plays of note, Aprobado en castidad (2001) by Luis Peñafiel [es] and with María Isbert in El cianuro ¿solo o con leche?
