Maryanne Sorenson (born 11 October 1956) is a former American rugby union player.

She was a member of the United States squad that won the 1991 Women's Rugby World Cup.

[2] Sorenson began her rugby career in 1975 at the College of William and Mary.

After graduating she moved to Philadelphia for medical school and played with the Philadelphia Women's Rugby Football Club from 1978 to 2000.

From 1984 to 1986, she also played with the Bethlehem Maulie Maguires.
