Mason Steven McCoy (born March 31, 1995) is an American professional baseball infielder in the San Diego Padres organization.
[4] McCoy spent the 2018 season with the Single–A Delmarva Shorebirds, playing in 124 games and hitting .266/.332/.369 with 4 home runs, 47 RBI, and 13 stolen bases.
[9][10] He spent the season with the Triple–A Tacoma Rainiers, playing in 124 games and hitting .256/.332/.473 with career–highs in home runs (21), RBI (63), and stolen bases (22).
[13] On July 26, 2023, the Mariners traded McCoy to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for Trent Thornton.
[15] On August 29, McCoy was selected to the 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time following an injury to Bo Bichette.
[19] On November 19, 2023, McCoy signed a minor league contract with the San Diego Padres that included an invitation to spring training.
[20] He began the season with the El Paso Chihuahuas,[21] playing in 108 games and slashing .260/.329/.382 with five home runs, 50 RBI, and 25 stolen bases.
