Matías Barboza

Matías "Mati" Barboza Van Hoec (born 13 February 2002) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a centre-back for Córdoba CF.

[1] He made his senior debut with the reserves on 2 May 2021, starting in a 1–0 Tercera División away win over CD Torreperogil.

[3] Barboza made his first team debut with the Blanquiverdes on 21 January 2024, coming on as a half-time substitute for Carlos García-Die in a 1–1 Primera Federación away draw against Recreativo de Huelva.

[4] He renewed his contract until 2025 on 19 February,[5] and finished the campaign with 18 appearances overall as the club achieved promotion to Segunda División.

Barboza made his professional debut on 16 August 2024, replacing José Martínez late into a 1–0 away loss to CD Mirandés.
