Mats Carl Rickard Rubarth (born 25 January 1977) is a Swedish musician and former footballer, who played most of his senior career for AIK.
Rubarth was a technical left-winger who liked to dribble past defenders from the left side of the pitch, even though he was right footed.
[1] Despite his on-pitch temper problems, Rubarth was very popular at AIK's home ground Råsunda for several reasons, including his entertaining style and commitment to the club.
[2] On 31 October 2008 it was announced that he would quit the team after the current season and that the match against Helsingborgs IF two days later would be his last at Råsunda.
He is a member of the italo disco group Italove and has worked with noted artists in the genre, like Gazebo and Ken Laszlo.
