Sallee is the newest member of the group, replacing Avi Kaplan after his departure in 2017.

He graduated from Maurice J. McDonough High School in 2012[1] and attended Berklee College of Music.

Sallee has become a household face in terms of a cappella groups and younger generations.

He has a good relationship with all his fellow group members and they spend time together outside of singing.

In Pentatonix he sings bass, baritone solos (sometimes going up to tenor register) and he occasionally does beatboxing, for example in Joyful, Joyful, in Kevin Olusola's rap verse; and also does the bass and percussion at the same time in Havana.
